Sanad Village, the region’s largest center dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and related disorders, has marked a remarkable milestone as three exceptional students Hoor, Mayed, and Omar graduate from its Early Intervention Program and transition into mainstream schools.
The students were honored in a heartfelt ceremony held in the heart of Sanad Village, attended by their families, teachers, therapists, and the dedicated support teams who have accompanied them throughout their developmental journeys.
This milestone marks a personal victory for the students and their families, and a defining moment in Sanad Village’s ongoing mission to promote inclusion and empower children with autism to integrate into society and lead more independent lives.
The stories of the three graduates stand as powerful proof of the potential within every child. When Hoor first arrived at Sanad Village three years ago, she faced profound communication challenges, but through dedicated therapy and nurturing support, she now expresses her needs confidently and greets those around her with warmth and connection, her love of music, dance, and storytelling shining as a symbol of hope for families navigating an autism diagnosis.
Joining the program in 2022, Mayed quickly endeared himself to teachers and classmates; with guidance, he developed essential social and classroom skills, growing into a calm, thoughtful young boy who dreams of becoming a pilot, his quiet leadership and kindness leaving a lasting impact on his community.
Though Omar’s journey began less than a year ago, his progress has been extraordinary advancing from struggling with communication and structure to confidently reading, writing, and participating in group activities, his passion for singing and remarkable memory inspiring everyone around him.
“At Sanad Village, we believe that with the right support, structure, and compassion, every child can thrive. The successful transition of our students into mainstream schools is a testament to that belief, and to what becomes possible when we intervene early and work together,” said Mahmoud A. Mahmoud, Regional Clinical Director at Sanad Village.
“This transition highlights the critical role of collaboration. We are deeply grateful to the schools that are welcoming our students with open arms. Such synergy ensures a smooth, confident step forward for each child, creating the continuity and support they need to truly flourish.”
Sanad Village’s Early Intervention Program is designed to deliver intensive, individualized therapy and structured education during the most critical years of a child’s development. The program focuses on enhancing communication, behavior, life skills, and inclusion, laying a strong foundation for a successful transition into mainstream educational environments.
As these exceptional children prepare to enter mainstream classrooms, their achievements serve as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when the right support is provided at the right time.
