Horizon International School Celebrates Academic Growth And Strong Student Progress In A Level Results For 2025/2026

Horizon International School (HIS), is proud to celebrate the Class of 2026’s exceptionally strong academic progress across all levels, reflecting the students’ ambition, dedication and perseverance as well as the school’s supportive and nurturing learning environment. These results are particularly noteworthy following the cancellation of A-Level examinations across the UAE.

Assessed through alternative evidence-based measures, HIS students demonstrated remarkable resilience, adaptability, and academic commitment, securing the school’s strongest academic outcomes despite a challenging period. This year, 44% of HIS students achieved grades A*-A, demonstrating excellent academic performance across the cohort, whilst 84% of HIS students achieved A*-B grades and 95% achieved A*-C.

Among the cohort’s standout performers are Andreas Palmos who secured A*,A*,A*,A*,A* grades, Aly Abouelhassan who achieved A*,A, A, B grades and Yahya Abuzakuk with A*,A*,B.

As part of its commitment to helping every student reach their full potential, HIS also places a strong emphasis on Value-Added performance, a key measure of the progress students make from their individual starting points. This year, A-level students proudly achieved an average of 1.57 grades above their expected outcomes across all subjects.

Many students will now go on to be pursue competitive courses shaped by their passions and strengths at their first-choice universities.
