Bloom World Academy (BWA) proudly celebrates the outstanding success of its third cohort of International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) Certificate Candidates.
The 2026 Grade 10 cohort comprised 61 students. The 16 MYP Certificate Candidates achieved a 100% pass rate and an average point score of 49.1, with the highest point score of 55 out of 56. Across the whole cohort, students achieved a 100% pass rate and an average point score of 42.3. A total of 37 students earned scores of more than 40 points, while 13 students scored more than 48 points, placing them among the high-scoring MYP candidates this year. These results solidify BWA’s commitment to academic excellence, personalised learning, and future-focused education, strengthening its position as a leading IB World School in the region.
Leading the cohort, Inaya Zaidi achieved an outstanding score of 55 out of 56 points, followed by Muskan Sheikh Nadigunta and Luna Gomez El Helou, who each achieved 53 out of 56 points.
In addition to the Certificate Candidates, other Grade 10 students completed individual MYP eAssessments in selected subjects as part of their customised learning pathways.
Nishi Saran, Principal of Senior School and the Nexus Pre-University Centre at Bloom World Academy, said: “We are absolutely delighted to celebrate another year of exceptional MYP results. Despite the disruption to this year’s on-screen examinations, our Grade 10 students and staff responded with remarkable resilience. With careful guidance from the IB and our Senior School leadership team, each family was supported in choosing the most suitable examination option for their child. Importantly, every student completed the Personal Project, which was externally graded and moderated.
These results mark an important milestone. They are not the final destination, but they are a very reassuring sign that the sat-nav is working. Huge congratulations to our brilliant students, a big thank you to our committed staff and enormous appreciation to our families. This is a magnificent community achievement and a strong foundation to build on as our students progress into Nexus or their chosen post-16 pathways. Their futures look exceptionally bright.”
John Bell, Executive Principal of Bloom World Academy, expressed his pride: “We are immensely proud of our IB MYP cohort and all that they have achieved this year. Their results are a reflection of far more than academic performance; they speak to the resilience, character and adaptability our learners have shown throughout a year that at times required them to navigate uncertainty and change. Despite these challenges, they remained engaged, ambitious and committed to their goals. Together with the support of our dedicated teachers and families, they have demonstrated what is possible when young people are empowered to learn with confidence, curiosity and purpose. Congratulations to every student on this well-deserved achievement.”
With strong foundations laid in the MYP, BWA students now progress into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at the school’s Nexus Pre-University Centre – a dedicated post-16 learning environment that supports personalised pathways and university preparation.
Known for its firsts, Bloom World Academy has introduced a number of innovations to the region – including a later start time of 9am, fully personalised timetables, and the Learning Achievement Passport (LAP), all designed to put students’ wellbeing and individual growth at the heart of learning. Its curriculum follows a spiral structure, enabling students to revisit key concepts over time and build deeper understanding as they progress. As a fully authorised IBDP/CP school, BWA offers multiple academic routes through both the Diploma and Career-related Programmes (IBCP), including Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) diploma courses such as Engineering and a pioneering, first-of-its-kind short course in Artificial Intelligence in the UAE.
