Union National Bank, UNB, in collaboration with GEMS Modern Academy, organized a book signing ceremony for the “Journey with Ali and Khaled”, a book literary work for children to help them gain information about the UAE’s history, heritage, and traditions. This book comes as part of UNB’s initiatives to celebrate the ‘Year of Zayed.’
The signing ceremony was hosted at one of GEMS Education’s prominent schools, GEMS Modern Academy, where Nargish Khambatta, the school principal, welcomed senior UNB officials, the author, and students.
Mr. Mohammad Nasr Abdeen, CEO of UNB Group, said: “UNB is proud to celebrate the Year of Zayed through a book that demonstrates how the late Sheikh Zayed, (may God have mercy upon him), is still living amongst us through his mindset and vision. The book aims to help future generations understand the UAE’s history, culture and heritage, which was among Sheikh Zayed’s top priorities.”
